Announcing our next book - from Chris McQueer!

We're really quite excited. Why's that?

We'll be publishing the debut short story collection from hilarious Glasgow-based writer Chris McQueer, who we featured in the first issue of 404 Ink in November 2016.

Chris' as-yet-unnamed debut collection will be published in July 2017 and a special preview pamphlet will be available at our Aye Write! event on March 9th: http://www.404ink.com/events/2017/3/9/404-ink-a-new-publisher-for-scotland-aye-write

We loved Chris from the moment his short story The Universe Factory landed in our inbox and after bringing down the house with his readings we knew 404 had to publish him.

Only a bit intimidated by the fact he's just been writing for a year and a half and that he has reduced us to fits of teary laughter from reading his weird and seriously wonderful stories, we think he's going to create a real splash around the Scottish spoken word scene and beyond.

More to come as we have it. But for now...
