Inklings series shortlisted for Marketing Strategy of the Year at British Book Awards!

Some good news to end the month - 404 Ink’s campaign for our brilliant Inklings series has been shortlisted for Marketing Strategy of the Year at the British Book Awards!

As the Nibbies website says: “Lockdowns, bookshop closures and the absence of events made it another tough year for publishers’ marketing teams. All planning and execution moved online in the first quarter of 2021, and while real-world opportunities emerged as the year went on, it was still a challenge to connect with retailers and buyers. These eight strategies, for a combination of big established brands and new voices, overcame the disruption magnificently.”

On top of being chuffed, the campaign sits alongside those of three of our favourite books from the last year - Dave Grohl, Caleb Azumah Nelson, and Sally Rooney - so that is very cool. Also shout outs to all the Inklings authors - we’re only able to do so much due to their brilliant books. View the full shortlist.
