Book Week Scotland: Catch up with Chris McQueer

Come along and enjoy an online session with the award winning author Chris McQueer, known for his extensive use of the Scots language within his works. The Scottish author grew up in the East End of Glasgow and worked as a crime scene cleaner prior to becoming a full time author, with his first series of short stories, ‘Hings’ being published in 2017.

‘Hings’ won the Best Short Story Collection at the 2018 Saboteur Awards and was followed by his next series HWFG (Here We F#*%ing Go) in 2018.

During the session you will learn more about Chris and his works, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
