404 Ink are Laura Jones and Heather McDaid, two talented publishing dynamos who decided to set up and disrupt the Scottish publishing scene last year, and discrupt it they did, most notably with their first book Nasty Women, a collection of essays about being female in the 21st century. As well as earning the backing of world-famous novelist Margaret Atwood and reaching treble their crowdfunding target for the collection, Nasty Women was described by HuffPost as 'the intersectional essay collection feminists need'. Laura and Heather have created nothing short of a radical publishing phenomenon. Join them in conversation with Kevin Williamson, the stalwart of radical publishing and founder of Neu! Reekie! as they discuss their incredible story, as well as the challenges and triumphs of publishing in the digital age.
