Come along to hear publisher 404 Ink and their author Chris McQueer discuss how a book goes from an idea to printing, and all the nitty gritty in between!!
In collaboration with the Festival of Creative learning, we hope to bring you an informative and entertaining evening, in which we will outline the ‘life’ of a book, from idea to publication. We will be joined by co-founders of publishing house 404 Ink, Heather McDaid and Laura Jones, and one of their authors, Chris McQueer. We’ll hear about publishing from practical and artistic perspectives, including a wee excerpt from one of Chris’s darkly hilarious books. If you are interested in writing, publishing, or are just really keen on books, please do join us to hear from these wonderful speakers!
If you are not a student at the University of Edinburgh, you will either have to create a guest account on the EUSA website, or contact us directly at publishedinburgh@gmail.com to book your ticket. We are sorry for this inconvenience!
Please note that this event may be photographed and/or recorded for promotional or recruitment materials for the University and University approved third parties. For further information please contact the organiser.
